Jacob Hugh Harrington, 31, Mosinee, died Sunday, May 24, 2020, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born May 6, 1989, in West Branch, Michigan, the son of Timothy Harrington and Gail (Egan) Michuda. He was a 2009 graduate of “Insight School of Wisconsin” (School District of Grantsburg, Wisconsin), and was employed as an assembler at Old Castle Glass in Schofield.

Jacob enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing basketball and disk golf, grilling and cooking and spending time with family. He often took time in reading his Bible and studying scripture for answers from God about life. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church of Kronenwetter. His greatest passion in life was focused on his two children, Peyton and Bayleigh, which he desired to be a good father to and have them grow-up being successful and living a faith-filled life. Jacob was a man with a big heart for those he cared for, especially his brothers and younger sister.

Survivors, besides his father, Timothy Harrington, Mosinee, and his mother, Gail Michuda, Clarkson, Kentucky, include his maternal grandmother, Joan Leaf, Fairview, Michigan; his children, Peyton Harrington and Bayleigh Harrington; mother of his children, Brittany Higgins, Greenville, Wis.; his siblings, Matthew Harrington, Kronenwetter, Nathan Harrington, Chetek, Wis., and Sarah Harrington, Mosinee; his uncles, Gary Egan, Perry Egan, Paul Egan and Steve Harrington; his aunts, Nancy Harrington and Cyndee Hogan; and many cousins and a niece. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Joshua Harrington, his paternal grandparents, Donald and Marie Harrington, his maternal grandfather, Walter Leaf, his aunt, Rebecca Forest, and his uncle, Jay Egan.

Services will be 12 noon Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Fellowship Baptist Church, Kronenwetter. The church has planned accommodations for social distancing, if attendees desire please go to for details. Pastor Brent Moodie will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview, Michigan, at a later date. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. May God give you comfort during this great sorrow. We regret we will not be able to attend the memorial; but our prayers are with you, Nathan, and the rest of your family as well. We did not know Jacob well yet, but had hoped to - he had such a sweet spirit and a gentleness about him. We were so very heartbroken to hear of the accident. May God heal your broken hearts and give you the strength and hope only He can provide and may you love Him and serve Christ with all your hearts.
