Ludwig (Louie) Wisz, 99, died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

He was born on January 17, 1922, the son of the late Frank and Pelagia (Wojnowski) Wisz. He married Helen Okrzesik on October 8, 1949, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Peplin.

Ludwig served in World War II with a rank of Staff Sargent in the 104th Timberwolves Division, Company A. He has been entered into the World War II Registry of Remembrance in Washington D.C. It brought him great joy to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending their sporting events and activities.
