It was a beautiful fall afternoon on October 19th, 2024, when God opened Heaven’s gate and Arietta Violet Walloch entered eternal life. She was born July 29th, 1943, in Lackawanna, New York, to the late George and Margie Goss. She was then adopted in 1947 by the late James and Ella (Kreger) Konobek.
She married the late Charles G Behle in 1960. They had three children, Marvin, Jim and Michelle. They then divorced in 1987. She went on to marry the late Richard A Walloch in 1989 and divorced in 2015.
Arietta attended Antigo High and was a wonderful homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, and traveling. Her passion was sewing. There wasn’t a pattern she couldn’t sew or custom design. Her many favorites were Halloween costumes for the grandchildren and holiday costumes for church. Arietta’s cherished moments were time spent with her family, friends and Christmas time at the lake house.
Survivors include her children Marvin (Barb) Behle, Wausau & Michelle (Pete Hilman) Novitski of Kronenwetter. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Vicki Behle of Plover. Other survivors include her grandchildren Jesse (Jessie) Osborne, Logan (Carly) Behle, Jamie (Cameran Maloney) Novitski, Rebecca (James) Perrine, and Tyler (Kate) Suprise, and great-grandchildren Eli, Allie, Colton, Kaia, Leiahana, Barrett, Vernon, Charlotte & Luke. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her son James A Behle.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brittney our hospice nurse & Interim staff for excellent care to Mumma. She truly had a special place in her heart for every one of you.
Per Arietta’s wishes, a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com.
