Ruth Ann Baumann, 72, Mosinee, died peacefully, Thursday, June 9, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 24, 1943, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Judd) Risell. She married Darryl Baumann on March 30, 1963, in Maryland. He survives.
She was a U.S. Navy veteran. Ruth loved spending time with her family and grandkids, as well as holidays and cooking. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed her flowers and butterflies, birdwatching, riding her bike, traveling, reading, puzzles and craft shows. She was also a member of Circle of Joy, Homemakers Association, and was active in her church.
Survivors, besides her husband, Darryl, include three sons, James (Donna) Baumann, David (Mary) Baumann and Mark (Sherry) Baumann; nine grandchildren, Angie, Gene, Sean, Jared, Alison, Aaron, Jordyn, Geneva and Kady; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester (Betsy) Risell and Ed (Carol) Bray; two sisters, Marie (Lew) Wolfe and Irene (Linn) Wilson; three nieces, Lynda (Bill) Gehris, Cindy (Jay) Fogarty and Colleen Wolfe; and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Risell and a nephew, Chris Thomas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at United Methodist Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Jon Payne will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the church. Online condolences may be given at bestefh.com.
