Isabel A. Beedle, 86, Mosinee, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at Rennes Nursing and Rehab facility.
She was born January 21, 1931, in Sparta, WI, the daughter of the late James and Hazel (Pokrand) Guy. She married Wallace Beedle on Aug. 6, 1955, in Sparta. After 61 amazing years of marriage, he preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2017.
Isabel was a teacher for 38 years with the Mosinee Public School, until retiring in 1990. She held memberships in many different clubs within Mosinee such as; the Mosinee Education Association, St. Monica’s Society at St. Paul Catholic Church, and the Mosinee Women’s Chamber Association. Isabel enjoyed golf, bridge, spending the summer at the cottage at Swamp Lake, visiting with friends, and especially traveling with the love of her life, her husband Wally.
Survivors, include seven brothers; James (Betty) Guy Jr., Chuck (Margaret) Guy, John (Geri) Guy, Dick (Ruth) Guy, Donald (Doris) Guy, Michael Guy, and Pat Guy, three sisters; Johanna Seley, Josephine Ashbaker, and Geraldine Zlesak, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her special cousins. Besides her husband Wally, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Elizabeth Jane Guy and Alice Parker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Isabel’s name may be directed to St. Paul Catholic Church Endowment Trust Fund.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of services all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
