Wallace E. Beedle, 86, Mosinee, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at his home.
He was born April 10, 1930, in Mosinee, the son of the late Lowell and Edith (Passow) Beedle. He married Isabel Guy on Aug. 6, 1955, in Sparta. She survives.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving as Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class from 1949 to 1953 during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion-Sherwood. He was employed at the Mosinee Paper Mill, retiring April 9, 1992. Wallace enjoyed golf, fishing, bridge, spending the summer at the cottage at Swamp Lake, visiting with friends, and especially traveling with his wife.
Survivors, besides his wife, Isabel, include a sister, Donna (Florian) Schmidt, Sherwood. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Mark Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wallace’s name may be directed to St. Paul Catholic Church Endowment Trust Fund.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery.
