It is with great sadness that the family of David L. Beske announces his passing, after a strong and brief battle with cancer, on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the age of 67 years.
Dave was a 1968 graduate of Mosinee High School. He worked for the city of Mosinee on the Water and Sewer Department for 39½ years. His greatest pride was raising his family, he was their rock. He enjoyed trout fishing, hunting, and going for rides to the casino. Dave truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, snacking, and many outdoor activities. He enjoyed watching his kids play ball and now watching grandchildren play ball. Trap shooting was pure joy for him, he was top shooter and “the one everyone wanted to beat”. Traveling up north camping with family was a true pleasure.
Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Debby, and his children, Kelly (Chad), Jenny (Chris) and Craig (Brandi). He will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Makayla, Nicholas, Grayson, Paige, Blake, Bristol and Lydia, his mother, Irene, his sister, Diane (Ken), and a nephew, Andy (Aly). He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond, and a son-in-law, Jason.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. There will be a 4 p.m. prayer service Sunday at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, followed by the visitation until 8 p.m. Visitation will be again from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com.
The Beske family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Aspirus Wausau Cancer Center and mostly to Dr. Peterson.
