Darlene "Beanie" A. Bohm, 76, Mosinee, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2021, at her home in Mosinee.
Darlene was born on April 30, 1945, in Junction City, WI. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Sarah (Marquard) Bohm.
Darlene was a faithful and active member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She went to P.J. Jacobs High School. She started working at the family owned little cafe, Saint Michaels Hospital in the Surgery Department, American Potato, Bethesda Lutheran Home for the retarded in Watertown as a Ward Parent and Supervisor, Worzella Publishing, Del Monte, River Pines Nursing home, and Portage County Health Care Center, and finally retiring from the Ruth Gilfry Center.
Beanie never met a stranger, she enjoyed visiting with everyone and always thought the best of everyone. She had much love and compassion for people. Bible reading and prayer was daily. She enjoyed reading books and watching DVD's that inspired her in her Christian life. Bible studies on line were a blessing towards the end of her life. Serving others was her specialty. Beanie kept herself busy always with the everyday tasks. She enjoyed playing her organ or accordion, and times a craft or a puzzle when time allowed. Looking at old cars was fun and in particular Ford Mustangs.
Beanie loved animals, pigs, and dogs in particular. Ginger and Mr. Bo Jangles were her last two dogs and they were very special to her.
Darlene is survived by her brothers, Wayne (Lori Meyers) Bohm, Evansville, IN, and Robert (Crystal) Bohm, Harrison, AR, her sister in the lord, Barbara Frasch, Mosinee, nieces and nephews, Julie Kellogg, Pastor Tim Bohm, and Kylie West, Alex Bohm, and great nieces and nephews, Stephen Bohm, Alexis Robertson, Cohen Johnson, Lilly Johnson, and Sidney Marten.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Fellowship Baptist Church, Mosinee. Pastor Brent Moodie will officiate. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed at www.fbcmosinee.org/bohm. Burial will be at Runkel Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
