Leonard John Bornheimer

Leonard “Leaker” Bornheimer, 79, formally of Edgar, passed away at Marshfield Medical Center - Weston, Thursday, February 24, 2022, from complications related to pneumonia.

Mr. Bornheimer was born March 22, 1942, in Wausau, Wisconsin to the late Leo and Regina (Brzezinski) Bornheimer.

He enjoyed helping others, no matter the project or challenge, spending hours to figure why something was not working, watching the Packers and the holidays with his grand-great grand kids. He also loved B.S.ing with friends and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Chris (Lowell) Bunker; sons, Gary (Lisa) Bornheimer and Jody (Terri) Bornheimer; three Grand Kids Sophia Nareau, Kendy (Danny) McAllister and Zachery Bornheimer, two great grandkids Maddilynn Bornheimer and Brooklyn McAllister; nine siblings, Norman (Phyllis), Leo Jr. (Jean), Eileen, Cecelia (Duane) Felzkowski, Harvey (Ione), Audrey (Dale Hoffman), James (Carolyn), Dennis (June), and Linda Coe. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Theresa Bornheimer and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Scott; brothers Bernard and Elmer; and brother-in-law, Richard Coe.

The rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral Mass following at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Holy Family Parish, R444 County Road U, Poniatowski. Fr Alan Wierzba will preside.
