Ronald Bothe

Ronald “Ron” Bothe, 44, Mosinee, died on May 22, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 7, 1974, the son of Walter and Carol (Szemborski) Bothe. He Married Catherine Strasser on June 11, 2010 in Wausau, she survives.

Ronnie really enjoyed cooking, he made his own cheese and butter, and built his own smoker. He along with his wife, enjoyed raising chickens for eggs, and was into eating holistically. He loved riding his Harley, especially when he got the chance to ride alongside his son Josh. He was going to build his own forge for blacksmithing. He loved building things with this own hands, and was very proud of his career as a union construction worker. He loved his family and friends very much, and he will be missed very much.

Ron is survived by; his wife, Catherine; his mother, Carol Bothe; his son, Joshua Bothe; his brother, Walter Bothe Jr.; two sisters, Debbie (Rod) Opat, and Cindy (Dean) Buchert; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Bothe Sr.

To honor Ron’s life, A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Chaplin Mark Lewis will officiate.
