Antoinette R. “Tusha” Brusky, 79, died on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center, Weston, WI.
She was born April 1, 1941, in Cook County, ILL, the daughter of the late Anthony and Marion (Golembiewski) Paszkiewicz.
Tusha was raised in the Mosinee area all her life. She enjoyed logging with her dad at a young age, splitting wood and helping her mom bake. After High School Tusha married Lawrence Slagoski in whom they had two children, Wayne & Laverianne. They later divorced. She raised her children in Mosinee.
She worked at Kraft in Wausau for several years, then later at McDonalds and Sam’s Club. She had many interests like, baking, bowling, playing cards, polka dancing and watching the Packers. Then in 1981, she became a first-time grandma, which she loved to be called Busia. She later moved to the Weston area where she lived until her death.
Tusha is survived by; her children, Wayne Slagoski of Florida, Laverianne Senski of WY; two grandsons, Joshua Slagoski of Thorp and Alex Senski of Mosinee; one great grandson, Jonathon Slagoski of Thorp, and her special daughter-in-law, Cindy (Ron) Alger of Thorp.
