John P. Brusky Jr., 82, Mosinee, passed away, Thursday, April 21, 2022, at The Bay at Colonial Manor. He was born March 30, 1940, in Marshfield, WI, the son of the late John and Angeline (Nenning) Brusky Sr. John was one of 15 children.
John served in the National Guard for several years, worked at the Mosinee Paper Mill until his retirement in 1998. He enjoyed traveling and being out on the water and was a very generous man to charity. John loved the cowboy and western lifestyle and participated as often as he could. The pride in his collection are his life size horse sculptures that adorned his yard in Mosinee.
John is survived by his siblings: Brothers, Harold, King, WI, Richard, Ohio, Raymond (Darlene), Mosinee, Howard (Marlene), Weston; and a sister, Carol (Albert) Miller, Colby. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by; brothers, Aloys, Clarence, Clem, William, Bernard (Infancy), Robert, and Kenneth; sisters, Mary Ann (Infancy), Ardele (Len) Osterbrink, Patricia (Dean) Shirbroun and Shirley (Marvin) VanDerLeest.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Don Meuret will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church.
