Rosalie “Rosie” Burclaff, age 81, of Schofield, entered the loving arms of her Savior on December 28th 2021.
Rosie was born in Tomahawk on January 22nd 1940, to the late Lawrence and Grace (Parshall) Blum. She married Arnold J. Burclaff on June 1st 1963 in Tomahawk, he preceded her in death in 1975.
Music was influential throughout Rosie’s life. Playing polka in their band, “Rosie & Arnie”, in the early 60’s. After the passing of Arnie, she started “Rosie’s trio”. Aside from music she enjoyed bird watching, particularly cardinals, doing puzzles, watching the Brewers and Packers, and she always had a sweet tooth. Family was most important to her. She often found herself working multiple jobs at once, to support her family, as a single mother.
Rosie is survived by her daughters, Dawn Burclaff, Schofield, and Brenda Lee, Kronenwetter; grandchildren, Alivia Rose Guillaume, Daniel Burclaff, and Landen Guillaume; Great-Granddaughter, Lillian Rose Felix; and sister-in-law, Eileen Bushar. She is further survived by her cat, Rascal, and dog, Jingles. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marge Peterson; and brother, Wally Bushar.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Christ Community Church, 8100 Alderson Street, Schofield. Rev. Dr. Robin Wilde will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
