Carl W. Cass, 91, Knowlton, was called by the good Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 17,2017, at his home.
He was born March 8, 1926, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late William and Clara (Windorski) Cass.
He was employed as a printer at Wisconsin Cuneo Press in Milwaukee from 1942 to 1978. He then worked for Cutler Hammer for three years in Milwaukee. Upon leaving Milwaukee and returning to Knowlton, he owned two taverns under the name of Bozo’s Bar. After selling the Bozo’s Bar in Mosinee Carl retired. Carl had such a wonderful smile for everyone and always believed in helping others. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, lots of Polka music and friends. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his sisters, Dorothy Thrun, Mosinee, who he lived with, Annabelle (Joseph) Buska, Kronenwetter, and Janet Pasha, Mosinee; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. Jim Trempe will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, starting with a Rosary, and will continue until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with services.
