Charlene S. Bielen, 78, Mosinee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Traditions at Cedar Ridge, Mosinee.
Charlene was born April 6, 1946, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The daughter to the late Walter and Mary (Obremski) Bielen. Charlene grew up on a small farm in the town of Guenther.
Charlene married and moved to Stevens Point to raise her children. Living in Stevens Point for a couple years she then moved back to the family farm to help care for her elderly father. After being a stay-at-home mom, Charlene worked at the Del Monte canning factory for several years. A devoted and loving mother of 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, she loved spending time in the kitchen, baking delicious cakes and pastries. She was an avid crocheter, making granny squares into blankets for her children and grandchildren to enjoy. In her later years she enjoyed laughter and playing dice with her kids every chance she could. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain she stayed strong until the end. While our hearts mourn for our lose, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
Charlene will be remembered and missed by her children Corina Clausen of Merrill, Duane Clausen of San Diego, Jamie (Ryan) Herman of Knowlton, and daughter-in-law Janet Clausen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sister.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Evan Clausen.
