Thomas, Tom, Tommy, TC, Poppa, Corn Pop, also known as the “Commish” for numerous fantasy sports, leaves our lives richer for having known him. His wife, children, and grandchildren were his whole world. An awesome son, brother, uncle, friend, also referred to by many as an amazing guy, a guy who changes lives, a guy who always entertained others. Our hearts are incredibly heavy.
As co-owner and Vice President of Gunderson Faulkner Wisconsin Corporation (Cost Cutters of Central Wisconsin & The Barbers Family Hairstyling), Tom was always excited to thank his staff and customers in an appreciation event each July at a Wisconsin Woodchucks game. He taught, was a featured speaker, and participated on numerous advisory boards including State College of Beauty Culture, Nicolet Tech, Mid-State Technical College, Moraine Park Tech and Chippewa Valley Tech. As an avid Vikings fan, Tom could have been seen around his office, home, or The Olympia Family Restaurant/ Pete’s Sports Bar in purple and gold swag. We will all greatly miss the emails with photos and well wishes he sent his friends and family that included “Have a Purple Day and Skol Vikings”. Look for his brick at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
