Roy A. Ciula, 71, Mosinee, died Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Mount View Care Center.
He was born Feb. 7, 1951, the son of Raymond and Dorothy (Stachura) Ciula. He married Evelyn Reed-Feit on Sept. 29, 1989, in Mosinee, WI. She survives.
After graduating from Mosinee High School in 1969, Roy joined the U.S. Army and after honorably serving his country, returned to Mosinee where he lived the rest of his life. He was a longtime employee of the Mosinee Paper Mill, working in the Boiler Room with people that were more friends than they were co-workers.
One of Roy’s favorite places was in his gunroom, working on his wide array of handguns and rifles and reloading shells. If you had a question about guns, you went to Roy for the answer. He also enjoyed the outdoors and camping with his wife Evelyn and other family members. He was an accomplished trap shooter for many years, earning several patches for perfect shooting.
Survivors, besides his wife Evelyn; include his stepchildren, Sandy (Tony) Salzman, Hatley, Tina (Russ) Cywinski, Wausau, Brian (Roxie Marchetti) Feit, Knowlton, Tim (Jane) Feit, Kronenwetter; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (Kathy) Ciula, AZ, and Jerry (Lori) Ciula, Mosinee; one aunt, Barbara Simonis, Mosinee; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Andrew Ewald will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee is assisting the family with arrangements.
