Bill Creske, 64, Mosinee, died Saturday, January 7, 2017, at his home.
He was born September 22, 1952, in Wausau, the son of Joyce (Grassl) Creske and the late Edward Creske. He married Charlene Nest on August 11, 1973 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Halder. She survives.
He worked his way up the ranks over 48 years at Wausau Tile. In addition, he was President of Creske Corporation. He enjoyed hunting; tending to his buffalo, elk, longhorns, roosters and pigs; and was an avid Packer fan. Each year, Bill enjoyed taking the kindergarten classes through his farm and showing them his maple syrup process. He was also a devoted grandpa and would drop anything for his grandkids. He was always available to help his friends. Bill was an upfront and honest man who would tell you like it is.
Survivors, besides his wife, Charlene, and his mother, Joyce, include his two sons, Ben (Jen) Creske and Scott Creske, both of Mosinee; two grandchildren, Lauren and Blake Creske, Mosinee; two step-grandsons, Tyler and Justin Lemke, Mosinee; two sisters, Dr. Mary (Dr. Buzz Ryskamp) Creske, Rancho Mirage, California and Cindy (Jim) Schwartz, Hudson, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.
