David N. Lange, 59, of Mosinee, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Agrace Hospice Care, in Fitchburg, with his loving wife by his side.
He was born on April 21, 1965, in Milwaukee, WI. He married Sally Zick, they later divorced. He then married the love of his life, Karen Betzner, on August 13, 2004, she survives.
Upon graduating from Palmyra High School, he began his career at Wausau Window and Wall Systems where he worked his way up to plant manager. In 2008 he and his wife bought a bar and grill together until 2010. He then owned and operated his own home inspection company, Marathon Home Inspections.
Dave always had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook. He loved fishing and hunting. He was an avid fisherman, who participated in many walleye tournaments, which he was very successful in. He was a hard worker who took pride in everything he did. As he would say, “As always, keep your line in the water!”
Besides his wife Karen, he is survived by his mother, Virgina “Ginger” Lange, Weston; children, David W. Lange, Wausau, Zachary Lange, Wausau, and Samantha Lange, Kronenwetter; stepchildren, Heidi (Cody) Leffel-Heidmann, Edgar, and Kregg Leffel, Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
A Prayer Service will take place at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m., until the time of the service, all at the funeral home. Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
