Dolores Jamroz was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ on February 17, 2025.
Dolores was born June 29, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois to John and Mary Gill. She attended catholic grade school and high school and worked at her father’s business until she was married.
Dolores married Edward Jamroz of Mosinee Wisconsin in 1952. They had three children Carol, Cynthia, and Allen. They lived in Chicago until the death of her beloved father in 1981. Edward and Dolores then moved to Mosinee where she had a summer home which became their full-time residence.
Dolores enjoyed her large vegetable garden and canned many a veggie. She had a great love and respect for animals. She crocheted avidly and created many beautiful quilts. She was a wonderful seamstress turning patterns into clothes for the entire family. She enjoyed Polish food. Her favorite bread was Chicago style polish rye.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Edward, daughter Cynthia, sister Mary Smigla, brother Eugene and wife Patricia Gill. May they Rest in Peace.
Survivors include her daughter Carol and husband Richard Pisanko. her son Allen, grandchildren Michael and Matthew Pisanko, Sara Schilling, Jason Jamroz, Krysten Vollmer, and nine great grandchildren and a sister Juliet living in Chicago
Dolores requested a gravesite service at Saint Paul's cemetery on Friday February 28, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
