Lawrence A. "Sunny" Drake

Lawrence “Sonny” A. Drake, 95, Mosinee, died Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Aspirus
Wausau Hospital.

He was born July 19, 1926, in Mosinee, the son of the late Errol and Helen (Preuss) Drake. He married Lillian Rein on May 28, 1948, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. She died Dec. 18, 2017.

Sonny was employed at Mosinee Paper Corporation for many years.

Survivors include a sister, Gladys Heahlke, Rib Mountain; a sister-in-law, Marge Rein, Kronenwetter; brothers-in-law, Henry Rein, Mosinee, and Anthony Rein, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a brother, Kenneth, and a sister, Vergie Crotteau.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the funeral home. Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
