James “Jim” Eberhardy, 78, Mosinee, died March 20, 2017, at Homme Home, Wittenberg.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1938, the son of the late Quintin and Mary (Kuna) Eberhardy. He married Carol Schaefer on Aug. 15, 1959 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Rozellville. She survives.
Jim graduated in 1956 from Columbus High School, Marshfield and became a certified welder and was a truck driver. He was an avid hunter, fishermen, and loved spending time outdoors. Jim enjoyed cards with his friends and country music.
Survivors, besides his wife, Carol, include three daughters, Lori (Robert) Koehler, Antigo, Jodi (Ed) Blahnik, Coweta, OK, and Lisa (Tim) Wasano, Birnamwood; two grandchildren, Monica Carpenter, Antigo, and Nikki (James) Valdez, Cameron, NC; two great-grandchildren, McKinzie and Nathan Valdez; a brother, Charles (Phyllis) Eberhardy, Kent, WA; three sisters, Cecelia (Robert) Benz, Mosinee, Catherine (Jerry) Bonkoski, Loyal, and Joan Eberhardy, Owen. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Peter Eberhardy.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 24th, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, where at 6:30 p.m. there will be a prayer service.
