Ellen J Mansfield (Silverthorne, Elliott, Schwarz) (Bunny) passed 10/27/2024 after gracefully handling the dementia that took her words from her for the last 8 years. Survived by her Children (David Elliott, James Elliott, Brian Mansfield, Cynthia Grigg, and Pamela Mayer) and Grandchildren (Mathew Mansfield, Charles Grigg, Monica Shivers, and Kristy Lemanski) Preceded by Husbands Dorwin Elliott, Ronald Schwarz, Kenny Mansfield, Parents, and numerous dogs and cats.
Ellen could always be found in one of two places, either her gardens or kitchen. She was always able to toss together a dinner for the masses or knowing just what her plants need to grow. She loved her dogs; breeding labs for several years and providing puppies for so many families though out the years always brought a smile to her face. Often looking back at the litter’s and knowing who had what puppy.
In her later years. Dementia (Aphasia) set in, stealing her words and her memories that made her the woman she was. The frustration it brought on was apparent to everyone. Eventually requiring help at home full time and eventually requiring care in a facility, she took it all with the grace that she could.
For those who remember, remember the good times. The times she would have wanted you to remember. Pet your dogs and water your plants. Goodbye Ellen.
