Patricia A. Filipiak, 86, passed to her heavenly reward on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at her home under the care of Interim Hospice and her daughters.
She was born July 11, 1934, in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Phillip and Salomea (Szablewski) Cisewski. She grew up on a farm in the township of Dewey, the 5th of 16 children. Growing flowers and working in her garden was her favorite pastime. She married Henry Filipiak on Dec. 18, 1954, he preceded her in death on January 25, 2001.
Together her and Henry built a home in Dancy where she raised her family and resided until time of her death. She worked as a laborer at Lullaby Furniture in Stevens Point, and ABL Lights in Mosinee.
Patricia is survived by; her three daughters, Karen (David) Coerper, Dr Marlene Filipiak DNP, FNP, BC, APRN, and Betty (Dan) Dombrowski; six grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin and Brian Dombrowski, Patricia (Anthony) Aden, Joel (Brittany Zuke) and Nola (Dan); sisters Jane (Anton) Rucinski and Cathy (Ken) Grezinski; brothers Kenneth (Agnes), Albin (Grace), Harry (Ann), Eugene (Karen) Bernard, Clarence (Jackie) along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Henry, she was preceded in death by and infant brother and sister Lester and Ruth, brothers Arthur, Richard, Ervin, and sisters Florence (Ben) Waldoch and Hedwig (Barney Salvinski and Leo Lavandowski)
A private family service will be held. Public visitation will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Jan. 6th, 2021 at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Online condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
