Frank Filtz, 71, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at Marshfield Medical Center. He was born in Peplin on July 6, 1947, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Adamski) Filtz.
Frank died what he loved doing; deer hunting! Nov. 25, 2014, he made the Wisconsin Record Book for his 10-point buck. Frank’s whole life was his family. He loved hunting, deer hunting in Dancy with his brothers, fishing & gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (James Rozak) Tomaszewski, Mosinee; a grandson, Nicholas Tomaszewski, Mosinee; two brothers, Paul Filtz, Germantown, and Joe (Cathy) Filtz, Berlin; and four sisters, Jenny (Nick) Kirchen, Deming, NM, Bernice VanDoren, Oshkosh, Mary Pascoe, Phoenix, AZ, and Susan (Terry) Luscher, Berlin; two sister-in-laws, Shirley Filtz, Oshkosh and Margie Filtz, Neenah; many nieces, nephews and cousins that loved him dearly; and two favorite cousins, David Adamski and Tom Adamski. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Barney Filtz; a sister-in-law, Diane Filtz; two brother-in-laws, Nathan VanDoren and Fred Pascoe; and a nephew, Michael Schroeder.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services all at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com
