Matthew J. Fudurich, 91, Kronenwetter, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
He was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Eagle River, the son of the late Paul and Helen (Janis’) He married Christine Nemec on Nov. 6, 1965, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Peplin. She survives.
Matthew was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He purchased the family farm in Kronenwetter from his parents and continued to dairy farm until retiring in 1989. He had a caring heart as he took care of his parents during their declining years and helped his handicapped neighbor often. Matthew enjoyed gardening and relaxing watching TV.
Survivors, besides his wife, Christine, include two daughters,
Agnes (Timothy) Hanson, Oconomawoc, and Angela Fudurich, CA; two grandsons, Patrick and Tyler Hanson; and a sister, Ann Canathon, Mosinee. He is preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters; and Father and Mother-in-law, Thomas and Mary Nemec.
Services will be at Noon, Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com.
