Cheryl R. Ganser, 74, Mosinee, passed away on Thursday, April 7th, 2022, at Acorn Hill Assisted Senior Living.
She was born November 2, 1947, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Robert and Delight (McKellips) Wirsbinski.
In her earlier years, Cheryl enjoyed card nights with friends and family camping trips at the Eau Pleine. Throughout her life, she spent countless hours in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for family and friends. Her knack for cooking led her to opening her own business, the Pizza Shoppe, and she later worked for Mesaba airlines. Cheryl also had a gift for planning the greatest vacations, keeping every detail in mind to ensure the best memories were made.
Survivors include her children, Jami (Richard) Smith, Mosinee, Jodi (Doug) Sann, Wausau, Russell (Stefanie) Ganser, Mosinee, and JanEl (Matthew) Daul, Mosinee; grandchildren, Brooke, Danae (Eric), Tyler, McKenna, Kelcea (Graham), Kole, Shae (fiancé Tyler), Jayde, Olivia, and Carter; great-grandchildren, Tyse, Jase, and Mavrick; a sister, Lynn Patton, Mosinee; and niece, Natalie (Kevin) Ponsler. Besides her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her son, Robbie Ganser, infant brother, Timothy Wirsbinski, and brother-in-law, Pat Patton.
A private celebration of Cheryl’s life will take place at a later date for immediate family.
