Blanche Marie Geffert (Hutson)

Blanche M. Geffert, 92, Knowlton, died Friday, May 12, 2017, at her home.
She was born March 24, 1925, in Litchfield, Ill., the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Kinder) Hutson. She married Rev. Melvin Rudolf Geffert on May 18, 1947, in Litchfield, Ill. He died March 17, 2004.
Blanche was very involved in her children’s lives and education, and throughout her life, faith was so important. She was an animal lover who enjoyed painting, sewing, and was very crafty. She was also very involved in the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Margo Geffert and Barbara (Bruce) Lefman; and a grandson, Tim Lefman. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Poteet.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, Dancy. The Rev. Timothy Roser will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
