Stanley Albert Grochmal

Stanley A. Grochmal, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at his home. He was born on May 22, 1954, in Wausau, WI. The son of the late Stanley and Stella (Opyd) Grochmal.

Stanley was an avid Packer fan. He enjoyed snowmobiling with friends. He always enjoyed the springtime when he got to go out on the farmland and work the fields. He loved working the fields with all the machinery he collected. He graduated from Mosinee High School in 1972. He worked at the Mosinee Paper Mill from 1976 until his retirement in 2009.

Stanley is survived by his sisters Patricia Crellin, Atlanta, GA, and Elaine (Daniel) Gaulke, Schofield, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Corrie (Mayur) Bharucha, Tim Crellin, Jacqueline Ellis, and William (Monica) Gaulke, and his special friend Charlene.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Stella Grochmal, and brother-in-law John Crellin.


A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, at St Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will take place at St Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
