Thomas A. Hagenbucher, 77, of Mosinee, died Wednesday August 16, 2017, at home.
He was born on August 9, 1940, the son of the late Raymond and Rose Mary (Doheney) Hagenbucher. Thomas graduated in the class of 1958 from Wausau East High School. He then went on to honorably serve six years over in Germany in the US Airforce. Thomas worked for Hertz Rent-A-Car service out of the Central Wisconsin Airport for 35 years. While working for Hertz Thomas also held a part time position for 18 years with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, as an Extra Deputy within the Warrant and Transport Division. Thomas’s favorite pastimes included; traveling, bowling, hunting, meeting new people and was a well-known jokester.
Thomas is survived by his significant other; Lilah Dean, Sons; Kevin Hagenbucher, Schofield, Kurt (Lisa) Hagenbucher, Jacksonville, FL, Step-Daughters; Robin (Doug) Cheever, Wausau, Lynn Dean, Palatine, ILL, Brenda (Allen) Pascavis, Stevens Point; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brothers; Jerry (Betty) Hagenbucher, Mosinee, Ed (Kathlene) Hagenbucher, Wausau, Bill (Jeannie) Hagenbucher, Rothschild, Sister-in-law Carol Hagenbucher, Wausau, as well as his former wife; Charlotte Hagenbucher, Wausau. Thomas was preceded in death by one brother, John Hagenbucher, and one sister, Elinor Berndt.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be at Mosinee Cemetery.
