Anne C. Hansen, 85, formerly of Mosinee, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Tender Hearts Assisted Living, Green Bay.
She was born July 29, 1936, in Minnesota, the daughter of the late Hubert and Clymene (Parisey) Weir. She married Robert Hansen on November 27, 1980, in Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2010.
Anne taught for many years in the Mosinee school system. Her favorite role, though, was to be Bob’s support in all of his musical endeavors. They were active in musical productions at Mosinee high school, in community theater, and in their respective churches. They also loved to travel together.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Leu, sister-in-law; Joyce Kolb, nieces; Lisa (David) Birch, Jenny (Jim) Dascoli, and Carrie (Bob) Arnold; nephew, Bill (Mary) Kolb; great nieces and nephews, Emily, Leah, Josh, Chris, Jenny, Mike, Kim, and Kate, special friends and neighbors, Kathy and Cliff Beestman, and Bill and Iris Meyer.
A heartfelt thanks to the late Donna VanderWaal, the caring staff of Willowhaven CBRF, and of Tender Hearts Assisted Living for the compassionate care they gave to Anne.
A mass of christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Don Meuret will officiate. Burial will take place at Mosinee Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service all at the church.
