Henry M. Kettler, 65, of Mosinee, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his home. He was born on December 7, 1957, the son of the late Henry and Rita (Dee) Kettler.
Henry was a dairy farmer in the township of Bergen for over half of his life. As a 2nd generation farmer, it was his way of life. He was so determined to become a farmer like his father that he started farming during his senior year of high school. After he retired Kettler Farms, he couldn't stay away from farm life. Henry worked for Cihlar Farms, the Town of Bergin, and Kevin Skinner. When he wasn't working or helping his friends, Henry enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, and snowmobiling in the winter. He also enjoyed his daily BS session with friend Jim Zell and took great pleasure in spending time and working on projects with Jon and Stacey Bowie.
Henry is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Travis) Michalski, along with two grandsons, Charles Henry and James, Mosinee; an aunt, Mina (Jerry) Lindow, Neenah; a cousin, Scott (Candy) Lindow, Medford; his girlfriend, Catherine Staples, Mosinee; and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Earl.
Henry's life celebration will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Online condolences and words of remembrance may be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com
