Alice C. Hessey, 67, Mosinee, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at her home in Mosinee after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born June 23, 1953, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Sparby) Hessey.
Alice had a passion for keeping her mind active by reading books and working meticulously on jigsaw puzzles. When she wasn’t spending time with her family she could be found tending to her garden, which she took great pride in. She worked at Greenheck Fan for 29 years, starting as a Stockroom Associate working her way to Stockroom Lead, retiring in 2018.
Survivors include her son, David (Melanie Lepper) Hessey, Mosinee; siblings, Sheryl (Jack) Morris, Weston, Glen (Diane Hoppa) Hessey, Mosinee, Linda (Steven Grim) Hessey, Mosinee, and Robert Hessey, Mosinee; niece and nephew, Rebecca Hessey, Wausau, and Christopher (Kris) Morris, Wausau; her longtime companion, Mark Lucas, Mosinee; and her beloved cat, Clara.
