Jordan A. Hoffman, 17, Mosinee, died Sunday, May 28, 2017, surrounded by his family at home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
He was born March 7, 2000, in Milwaukee. Jordan was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a Boy Scout. When he wasn’t in the woods or on the lake, he could be found at home playing video games or hanging out with his best friend, Logan Kasat. Jordan loved life and everyone around him. Although his lifelong battle with brain and spinal tumors wasn’t easy, Jordan always found a reason to smile and to keep fighting.
Survivors include his parents Brenda and Jason O’Keefe, Mosinee; Maternal Grandparents, Cindy and Keith Ast, Big Bend; Paternal Grandparent, Patrick O’Keefe, Wautoma; two sisters, Samantha Semrad, Poynette, and Britnay Hoffman, at home; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Marla O’Keefe.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Good News Baptist Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Joseph Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and again Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services, all at the church (619 Marsh Drive, Mosinee). In honor of Jordan, the family has requested that visitation and service attendees wear any camouflage clothing, if possible.
