Jeffry James Grassl

Jeffry J. Grassl, 60, of Mosinee, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024. He was born Nov. 9, 1963, the son of John “Jack” and Mary “Jean” (Koback) Grassl. They both survive. 

Jeff grew up in Mosinee he enjoyed adventure. He loved fishing, going on road trips with his family, and he enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear waters of the chain of lakes in Waupaca. He also loved four wheeling and snowmobiling in northern Minnesota. He was always willing to help people in need, whether it was a random hitchhiker or a close friend. He was a true MacGyver when it came to working on cars and houses. Last of all, he was a loving, father, and grandfather.

Survivors, besides his parents, Jack and Jean Grassl, include his three children: Jeffrey Grassl, Pennsylvania, Gina Grassl, Pennsylvania, and Jacob Grassl, Stevens Point; three grandchildren: Jacob Ryder Grassl, Charllee Threw, and Ashton Grassl; three sisters: Michelle (Bud) Terrio, Wittenburg, Mary Ann (Andy) Hawro, Arizona, and Melissa Grassl, Mosinee; Girlfriend, Shannon Kopchinski, Mosinee; and a Godchild, Zion Grassl. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Hayley and Brother, John. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee is assisting the family with arrangements.
