Joye L. Lindsey, 82, Mosinee, died Friday, April 7, 2023, at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1940, in Jackson, Tenn., the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Staples) Wallace. She married Benjamin Lindsey who preceded her in death.
Joye went to grad school in Jackson, Tenn., and high school in Kenosha. She was employed at a restaurant, drove a bus for Jelco Bus Line in Kenosha, and worked for Rockwell and Porta Cable both in Jackson. Retiring in 2000.
Survivors include her children, Laura Davis, Lisa Kent and Brady Lindsey, Mosinee; her sisters, Teresa Wallace, Gloria Hawkins and Linda Creekmore. She was preceded in death by three sons, Dennis, Bradley and Steve Kent; a son-in-law, James Kent; a brother, Lowell Wallace; and a sister, Pamela Creekmore.
