Nancy L. Kolodziej, 65, Mosinee, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 26, 2016.
She was born on June 1, 1951, the daughter of Lucille (Jones) Richter, Mosinee and the late Robert Richter. She married David Kolodziej on July 31, 1971 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Knowlton. He survives.
Nancy was the Matriarch and the rock that held her family together. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She enjoyed spending time gardening, scrapbooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She naturally loved and cared for everyone she knew, and treated all as if they were her family. She was truly a one of a kind woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors, besides her husband, David, and mother, Lucille, include her four children, Kristopher Kolodziej, Fairbanks, AK, Amy (Steven) Kramm, Jay (Sarah) Kolodziej, and Andrew (Kurstin) Kolodziej, all of Mosinee; 11 grandchildren, Tien and Nikayah Kolodziej, Kolton, Oliver and Noah Kramm, Kaden and Jaxson Kolodziej, and Lucy, Annie, Andrew and Lukas Kolodziej; a sister, Betty (John) Sadogierski, Hatley; two brothers, David (Cindy) Richter, Mosinee, and Gene (Diane) Richter, Stevens Point.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Arthur will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and again from 9:30 a.m., Friday until time of services, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
