Dolores M. Kopchinski, 93, Mosinee, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at her home.
She was born on June 17, 1926 in Cook County, Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Vach) Kopchinski.
Dolores retired from James River after 37 years as a multilith operator and maintenance dispatcher. She is also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. Through the years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and ice skating. She belonged to the Mosinee Silver Blades, Merrill Cardinals and played ball in California with the Coca-Cola girls. She also belonged to the chorus of James River – she whistled for them!
Survivors include a cousin, Jack Koppa; nephews and nieces, JoAnn Klowitter, Dennis Klowitter, Judy Eake, Faye Hahn, Bill Buzzell and Gary Buzzell; and a very special great-niece, Krista Phillig. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Genevie Buzzell; and two stepbrothers, Gerald Klowitter and Marcus Klowitter.
