Richard Kostecki

Richard E. Kostecki, 83, Mosinee, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
He was born Feb. 6, 1935, in Peplin, the son of the late John and Mary (Mytych) Kostecki. He married Valerie Dziwulski on June 11, 1961, in Chicago. She preceded him in death on Sept. 21, 2018.
Survivors include his seven children, Jim (Tricia) Kostecki, Huntley, Ill., Tony (Anissa) Kostecki, Romeoville, Ill., Kathy (Greg) Belina, Lisle, Ill., Richie (Lori) Kostecki, DePere, Tom (Deb) Kostecki, Mosinee, Ken (Karen) Kostecki, Lockport, Ill., and Mike (Kim) Kostecki, Romeoville, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; his sisters, Gertrude Kolosa, Buckley, Ill., Emily (Lee) Thill, Des Plaines, Ill., and Irene Lizzio, Onarga, Ill.; and three brothers, Clarence (Phyllis) Kostecki, Rib Mountain, Leo Kostecki, Appleton, and John (Bev) Kostecki, Hatley. He was prededed in death by a brother, Robert, and a sister, Wanda Young.
Services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.bestefh.com.
