Vera Krieg

Vera M. Krieg, 93, Mosinee, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.

She was born March 11, 1925, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Adolf and Matilda (Hack) Rheinschmidt. She married Carl Krieg on July 10, 1946, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee, enjoying 71 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2017.

Vera was a loving wife and mother, always providing for her family and supporting her children’s activities and events. She was also a proud homemaker who enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include two sons, Barry (Diane) Krieg, Vancouver, Wash., and Rodney Krieg, Mosinee; three grandchildren, John (Megan) Krieg, Erin (Tim) Krupicka and Steven Krieg; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arden Rheinschmidt.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Meuret will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee.
