Norman D. Krieske, 83, formerly of Mosinee and Marion, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at King VA Hospital, King.
He was born Dec. 1, 1933, the son of the late Paul and Martha (Kujawski) Krieske. He was a Mosinee High School graduate and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Norman worked as a carpenter for over 45 years, retiring in 1996. He was an avid reader and interested in all current events. He enjoyed Aviation and remodeling.
Survivors include his companion of 33 years, Diane Kuhl, Marion; three sons, Paul Krieske, Spring Grove, IL, Steve (Eileen) Krieske, Johnsberg, IL, and Robert Krieske, Hawaii; three daughters, Mary (Michael) Marshall, Loganville, GA, Sue Krieske, Mundelein, IL, and Nancy (Larry) Schlack, Howell, MI; six grandchildren, Stephanie and Danny Krieske, Caitlin Krieske, Bobby Krieske, and Michael and Eric Marshall; two sisters, Bernice Fochs and Carollee (George) Zwicki, both of Mosinee; and nephews and nieces, Jeff (Barb) Fochs, Cathy (Ron) Obremski, Gary, Mark and Gail Zwicki.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. James Arthur will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Knowlton.
