October 28, 1925 — September 5, 2021

Lottie M Kusiak, 95, formally of Mosinee died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Care Partners Country Terrace Assisted Living in Minocqua, WI, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 28, 1925, in Moon, WI, the daughter of John and Rosalie (Jackswniak) Domagola. She married Stanley H. Kusiak on October 11, 1943, at St Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee. He preceded her in death on Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

Lottie attended the Moon school for 8 years. She lived on the family farm until her marriage except for a short time she spent working in Chicago. In 1962 they moved back to Mosinee where Lottie continued to be a devoted Wife and Mother. After Stanley’s death, she remained in their Mosinee home until she moved up North to Springstead with son, Jerrold and wife Mary. She lived there until April 2018 when she moved to Country Terrace Assisted living where she remained until her death.

When younger, Lottie always planted a large garden and could can almost anything. She was a wonderful cook and baker and enjoyed cooking for large family gatherings, especially at Christmas.
Lottie, affectionally called Mom or Mum by her children, loved to visit friends and relatives, travel, and do crafts that included knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Lottie and Stanley traveled throughout the United States. One of her most memorable trips was when she traveled by train with her sister Helen and niece Rosalie to the West coast where they visited their daughter Candy/family in San Diego, CA
Lottie valued her Catholic faith, and she attended church and prayed the Rosary regularly.
After Stanley’s death, she remained in their Mosinee home until she moved back up North to Springstead with son, Jerrold and wife Mary and lived in their home until April 2018 when she moved to Country Terrace Assisted living where she remained until her death.

Survivors include her children, Candace (Donald) Reader, San Diego, CA, Jerrold (Mary) Kusiak, Springstead, WI, James (Angie) Kusiak, Mosinee and Kathleen (Todd) Pesavento, Rio, WI.
