Linda A. Brandt, age 70, of Mosinee, Wisconsin and formerly of Stevens Point WI, died January 9, 2024, at home with her family around her.
She was born on December 1, 1953, in Madison, WI to Raymond and Beatrice Warren. Linda grew up in Brown Deer and Grafton, WI. She graduated with high honors from UW-Whitewater. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Brandt, June 26, 1976. Together, they had two children. Linda worked at the Pacelli Catholic Schools at the St Stanislaus grade school for over 25 years.
Linda’s family, both immediate and extended, was the focus and joy of her life. She liked to travel and had very fond memories of the places we had gone. She was also a deeply devoted Christian and a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton. Linda enjoyed reading, spending time on the lake, and working on various projects with the “Dream Team” at her church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, daughter Carrie (Charles) Esler of Eagan, MN, and son Daniel (Erin) Brandt Eagan, MN; sisters Nancy (Scott) Findholt of Cove, Oregon; WI; Susan (Fred) Spaeth of West Bend, WI; and brother John (Mary) of Suamico, WI; four grandchildren; and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, on January 15 at the St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate. Burial will be in the St Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Knowlton. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, all at the church. Beste funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda’s name can be directed to the family, where later they will be donated to a charity in Linda’s name.
