Christopher R. Loomis, 45, of Kronenwetter, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, at his home. He was born in Yuma, Arizona on March 29th, 1977, to Robert and Ruth (Colcord) Loomis.
Coming to Wisconsin as a young boy, Chris later graduated from Tomah High School in 1995. A few years after graduation he took a position at Frontier Phone Company where he would dedicate over 20 years of service.
He helped raise three children in his life. Two sons, Devin and Alexander, and one daughter, Katelyn. Chris worked hard for his family to the very end. They were always his top priority.
When he had free time Chris had a particular passion for amateur radio, which he shared with his father. He also had an interest in electronics, computers, and more. He was always happy to teach about and share these interests with his family. He will be remembered fondly, in part by the knowledge and passion he passed on. The knowledge he did not have time to share will be missed dearly.
He was an amazing father, son, brother, and friend. He passed from this life too soon, but hopefully he can rest easily knowing he was loved immensely.
Surviving include his parents Robert (Lynn) Loomis, Park Falls; Ruth (Jim) Plymesser, Tucson, Arizona; Children, Alexander Loomis (Kim Lambie) of Mosinee; Katelyn Loomis of Mosinee; Devin Sann (Jenna Belanger) of Schofield; Siblings, Katie (Justin) Mattice of Wausau; Jon Loomis-Plymesser of Tucson, Arizona; Sarah Krause; Brian Oksa (Kristin) in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin
