Audrey A. Luedtke, 79, Mosinee, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Ascension Saint Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1937, the daughter of the late August and Gertrude (Spitzer) Selle. She married Arnold E. Luedtke on Nov. 10, 1956, in Mosinee. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 2002.
Audrey was a Mosinee High School graduate who worked as a school custodian for 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Marathon County Homemakers Association and active at Mosinee’s St. John Lutheran Church. Audrey enjoyed knitting, crafting and quilting, which she made several for the quilting club at her church. She was a professional camper and a den mother for Cub Scouts and a Campfire Girls Leader. Audrey also enjoyed being on a bowling league and an expert rummage saler!
Survivors include, her four children, Ralph (Patti) Luedtke, Fredonia, Terry (Lois) Luedtke, Mosinee, Candace Peterson, Mounds View, MN, and Carolyn (Glen) Bennett, Ripon; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandsons; two sisters, Janet Akey, West Salem, and Marlene (James) Strehlow, Rothschild; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Larry Lee Luedtke.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at St. John Lutheran church, Mosinee. The Rev. Marilyn Lange will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
