Dora Grace Maciejewski (Cartwright)

Dora G. Maciejewski, 99, Mosinee, died peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at Hospice House.
She was born March 18, 1917, the daughter of the late Elexander and Georgia (Babcock) Cartwright. She married Frank Maciejewski on March 23, 1935 in Mosinee. He preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 2000.
Dora was a Mosinee High School graduate and a wonderful homemaker for over 65 years. She was an active member at Good News Baptist Church and involved in the Ladies Bible study and Life Group. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, spending time at the family cottage and polka music. Dora looked forward to church every Sunday and quality time with her family, especially during the holidays. She was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan!
Survivors include her four children, Bob (Marcia) Maciejewski, Mosinee, Joyce Boris, Arizona, Richard (Tina) Maciejewski, Arizona, and Roger Majeski, Mosinee; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Vernon Cartwright, Mosinee; two sisters, Ida Mae Brand, and Betty Jane Swiderski, both of California; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters, Esebella, Myrtle and Alice; three brothers, Elroy, Boyd and Kelly; and one son-in-law, Jim Boris.
Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Good News Baptist Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Duane Jass will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mosinee.
