Margo K Geffert

Margo K Geffert, 76, Mosinee, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Pine Meadows Assisted Living in Mosinee, under the care of Compassus Hospice.

She was born on October 21, 1948, in Stanwood, IA, daughter of the late Rev. Melvin and Blanche Geffert. Margo lived in various communities and states throughout her life, but her favorite place was on Lake DuBay.

She devoted her life to caregiving, starting out with a career in nursing (RN) in Chicago and St. Louis. She was also employed at Aspirus, Westhill Clinic and at VNA. She was a full-time caregiver to both of her parents.

As an animal lover, she always had at least one dog and/or cat in her home. She leaves behind her precious dog Bogie and cats Elsa and Otto. She also leaves behind a sister, Barbara (Bruce) Lefman, Independence, MO, a nephew, Tim Lefman, Parkville, MO, one aunt, many cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Her family would like to thank Linda for being a wonderful friend and caregiver, Pine Meadows, and Compassus Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Dancy. The Rev. Timothy Roser will officiate. Burial will take place at Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service, all at the Church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
