Marie Annet Cincera

Marie A. Cincera, 73, Mosinee, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, with her family by her side.

Born on July 27, 1950, to the late, Frank and Theresa (Dawiedczyk) Cincera. Marie embraced life with a passion for gardening that was truly remarkable. Her green thumb was evident in her collection of 84 different types of Hosta plants. She was known for her dedication and commitment as the UWSP Bookstore Manager for an impressive 38 years.

Marie's warm and caring personality shone through in her active participation at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She tirelessly coordinated the weekly church bulletin, served as a CCD teacher, and led the youth group with unwavering enthusiasm and kindness. Beyond her professional and religious endeavors, Marie found joy in supporting her favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. Her dedication to both her passions and responsibilities left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marie is survived by her brothers, Eugene Cincera, and Richard (Monica) Cincera; a sister, Josephine (Jerry) Lassa, all of Mosinee, many nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Carl Belohlavek, and her dog Finnagan. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Belohlavek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. The Rev. James Trempe will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Francis Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service all at the church.
