Mary Greene

Mary Greene, 91, of Mosinee, passed away at her home on April 29th, 2023, with her family by her side.

Mary was born on January 23, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie (Enea) Sciurba. She married Ronald Greene, on Sept. 27, 1952. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2019. Besides her husband Ronald, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Junior as well as her two brothers, two sisters, and several other relatives and friends.

Mary loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She would watch the birds enjoy the feast she put out for them each day and always had time to pet the family dogs and provide treats for them. Mary loved to stay in touch with her family and friends whenever she could. She loved to browse through the local resale shops looking for treasures and made the most of the spring and summer days admiring the gardens and watching the wildlife in the yard. In the evenings, Mary was a faithful Hallmark Movie watcher and occasionally enjoyed a scary movie.

Mary is survived by her children, Jenny (Randy) Mueller, Milwaukee, Susan (Jeff) Sell, Mosinee, and daughter-in-law Rhonda Greene, Delavan; four grandchildren, Joe, J.J., Lisa and Brian, as well as two step-grandchildren, Jim (Cheryl), and Jill ; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Austin, Adriana and Evelyn; a brother in law Walter (Jane) Greene, brother in law Larry Mauritz, sister in law Jo Greene; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
