Charlene Elouise Meis

Charlene Elouise Meis, 58, passed away Thursday, January 5th, 2023.

She was born April 4, 1964 to the late Donald and Bernice (Bluma) Meis and was one of 10 siblings.

Charlene enjoyed her job working at Walmart and also her role as caretaker to a special loved one.

Charlene had a heart of gold. She put her family first above all else. She spoiled everyone at Christmas and birthdays. She loved spending time and making memories with her grandchildren Luke and Lorelai.

If there was ever a need, she filled it—no grumbling or questions asked. She was incredibly self-sacrificing and strong.

Charlene was also funny. She often left creative voicemails for her loved ones of her singing songs, real or made up, to make them smile.

She knew our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is free from all pain and suffering. She will be incredibly, deeply missed.

Charlene is survived by her daughter Crystal (Jason) Rambo and grandchildren Luke and Lorelai (Rambo); Her siblings: Alan Meis, Bruce (Lynn) Meis, Elaine (Larry) Wierzba, Linda Meis, Rose (Pat) Malak, and Scott Meis, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and siblings: Marcia Zilkowski, Dale Meis, and Dennis Meis. She was also preceded by her niece Heather Meis.

A celebration of Charlene’s life will take place on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Online condolences can be directed to the family at www.bestefh.com.
